February

  • Week 5 (Jan 27 – Feb 2): “Love, Actually” – Celebrate a form of love you value.

October

  • Week 41 (Oct 6 – Oct 12): “Fright Night” – Playful or spooky Halloween-inspired themes.
  • Week 42 (Oct 13 – Oct 19): “The Forgotten Corner” – Pose in a location you’ve always overlooked.

November

  • Week 47 (Nov 17 – Nov 23): “Hidden in Plain Sight” – Blend into your surroundings creatively.

December

  • Week 48 (Nov 24 – Nov 30): “Looking Back” – Reflect on personal or artistic growth from the year.
  • Week 49 (Dec 1 – Dec 7): “Lines and Geometry” – Play with shapes and lines in your composition.
  • Week 50 (Dec 8 – Dec 14): “Natural Contrast” – Combine soft and harsh elements in your portrait.
  • Week 51 (Dec 15 – Dec 21): “Year in Review” – A collage of past themes in one portrait.
  • Week 52 (Dec 22 – Dec 31): “Future Self” – Imagine who you’ll be in 10 years.

Remember, you can make plans ahead of time, but SPS images should be captured during the week of the “event” (from the previous Monday through that Sunday). You can shoot for the theme, but also feel free to share any off-topic images you create, as well. This project aims to be inclusive, inspiring, and fun for every participant. Feel free to post the images over the weekend (Saturday and/or Sunday) and use the hashtags #SelfPortraitSunday and #ArtofSelfPortraiture!
